Achensee Sports & Vitality Park

Lake Achen, with its magnificent natural paradise in the heart of Tyrol, offers everything that a holidaymaker's heart could desire. Lake Achen is surrounded by the Karwendel and Rofan mountains.

As the biggest lake in Tyrol, Lake Achen is up to 133 m deep and has outstanding water quality. The crystal-clear water allows to see ten meters down below the surface.

It is true that Emperor Maximilian loved to come to Pertisau am Achensee. The nobility and artists followed his example and were enchanted by the unparalleled atmosphere. Today, you can enjoy an imperial holiday in Pertisau yourselves, since there are still many things here that are worthy of an emperor:

Swimming, surfing, kite surfing and sailing on Lake Achen

Lake Achen has been known for many years as the perfect sailing and surfing area in the heart of the Alps and offers sailors, surfers, kite surfers and those who enjoy the new craze "Stand Up Paddleboarding" (SUP): 9 km of dreamlike water conditions and ideal wind conditions. In addition to the ships belonging to the Lake Achen shipping industry, the pedal and rowing boats, the diving and angling activities, Tyrol's biggest lake also has room for the many bathers who can 'fill their boots' with no restrictions whatsoever. In the summer months, Lake Achen is not only popular for excursions; it is also an in-demand holiday destination for beach lovers. The mountain lake is also distinguished by its drinking water quality.

Golf and the perfect tee shot!

Lake Achen offers two golf courses for passionate golfers giving you the perfect "tee shot". The Achensee Golf & Landclub at the foot of the Karwendel, with its 18 hole course, is one of the most beautiful places in the Alps and captivates by not only being the oldest golf club in Tyrol (founded in 1934), but also with its pleasant clubhouse thoroughly furnished in wood. The second course is situated in Achenkirch on a picturesque high plateau. The golf course, with its 9 hole range, is suitable for both beginners and pros alike due the different teeing options and varied terrain.
