Sport climbing in the Achensee area - the most beautiful ladder trails in Tyrol

Crystal clear, deep blue water with small boats with dazzling white sails and surfers, which loosens the picture as "colorful dots": This picture stands for many representative of the whole Achensee region in Tyrol. Seen, of course, from the "bird's eye view". And here the mountains with their via ferratas, which form the perfect setting for the unique lake, come into play: the "Hausberge", the Rofan mountains high above the Achensee and the Karwendel mountains, have in recent years become one of the best climbing areas in Tyrol developed.

Climbing area Lamsenspitze and climbing garden Dreamland

Around the Lamsenjoch is an alpine climbing area with walls up to 400 meters high. Here you will find classic alpine routes and modern alpine sport climbing routes side by side. Even the famous Hermann Buhl left his mark here. Partly fantastic rock, coupled with alpine ambience, makes the climbing heart beat faster.

Dominating rock peak of the area, falls to the north and east with walls up to 400 meters high. The routes in the right part of the east wall offer excellent rock at least in the lower part, but end after a few pitches on the very popular and often committed northeastern edge.
